Harry Reed and Nancy Pelosi appear unable or unwilling to appropriate enough money to put in a traffic signal without forking over $100 billion for Iraq. So it falls on us, the little people, to make sure Uncle Dubya doesn't try and sell the actual Oval Office to Halliburton. Oh, right.
